Navigation System (Continued)

Next we come to the "Videos" menu.

Selecting "Video" will let you browse your videos. Selecting a video then plays it. If you had played that video partly before, playing it again will resume it from the last played position.

Pressing the "Options" button...

The options are same as with the Zen Vision. "Fit To Screen" maximises the video to fit the screen, while maintaining the aspect ratio. That is, if the video is widescreen, or not in the 4:3 aspect ratio, then black bars would be seen. "Stretch to Full" stretches the video to fill the entire screen, ignoring aspect ratio. This might be useful for videos that are supposed to be in 4:3 aspect ratio, but are somehow a little off. For widescreen videos, however, it only makes the video look over-stretched.

"Original Size" plays the video at the original size without stretching, if the video is smaller than the screen (320x240). If the video is larger, the video is still resized to fit within the screen.

Next we come to the FM Radio.

The Zen Vision:M also has a reception bar like the Zen Vision, and is able to detect if no headphones are connected (the wire of the earphones or headphones are used as an antenna for the FM radio, without which there would not be any reception).

To name your presets, the Zen Vision:M uses an on-screen QWERTY keyboard.

You can also record radio. Recording is done in IMA ADPCM format (22KHz stereo).

The next menu is the "Microphone".

Nothing much here. The Zen Vision:M comes with a built-in microphone, and recording is done in IMA ADPCM format (16KHz mono).
