Creative Zen Vision
Navigation System (Continued)

Next, we come to the FM Radio.

Creative engineers added a really cool "reception" bar, and is also able to detect if headphones are not connected (the headphones cable is used as an antenna for the radio).

Plug in a pair of earphones...

The "Options" button lets you record radio, manage presets and name them.

The Zen Vision also has a built-in microphone for voice recording. Like the Zen Micro, there is a sound level monitor.

The Zen Vision software allows you to sync your Outlook data to the Zen Vision.

The "Calendar" shows a decent looking calendar.

Next, we come to the "Extras" menu.

"Date & Time" basically displays the current date and time on the screen.

Pressing the "Options" button lets you set the date and time, as well as alarm. You can also choose between a digital or analog display, as well as change the way the date and time are displayed.

The "Removable Disk" mode works just like the Zen Micro's. You have to partition part of the hard disk to work as a removable drive.

As you can see, you can choose from as small as 512MB, to as large as 16GB.

Here, the player is in "Removable Disk" mode, which means once you plug in the USB cable, Windows will detect it as a mass storage device. Anything transferred to the Zen Vision in this mode will not be accessible by the player.
