When you pop in the CD, the welcome screen appears.

In this case, selecting "Asia" gives the following languages.
As usual, Creative includes Windows Media Player 10, as well as its own Creative MediaSource media organizer software. For a minimal installation, just the first option, "Creative Zen Vision" is good enough.
The installation process, which takes quite a long time.
And completing the installation.
Consus PMC-300
Installing Software
The PMC-300 is a mass storage class device. As such, except for those using Windows 98, no drivers need to be installed. This also means the PMC-300 can be used on any OS that supports USB-based mass storage class devices, such as Mac OS and Linux.
Remarks
The PMC-300 is certainly more convenient than the Zen Vision, because you can bring the player around and just transfer files, whether videos, music or other types of files, to and from the player. If your friend has a cool video clip on his laptop, you can transfer it to the player and watch it immediately. You cannot do this with the Zen Vision since the computer must have the Zen Vision software installed to recognise and transfer media to and from it. While the Zen Vision has a removable drive mode, you cannot watch or listen to media files transferred in this mode.
