Navigation System (Continued)
Next is the "Record" menu, and the corresponding screen when recording. Recordings are saved in uncompressed WAV files at 8KHz, 16-bt Stereo.

Consus also included two games with the PMC-300, although with the overly-sensitive buttons, you probably would only play "Greedy Snake" when you are really, really bored.

The "Browser" function lets you browse the PMC-300 like you would on the computer. However, playing music or videos in this mode will have certain functions disabled, such as the "Tools" menu, as well as lyrics or subtitles.
Instead of using a CompactFlash slot as in the Zen Vision, the PMC-300 uses USB On-The-Go, which allows you to plug most digital cameras, thumb drives and even digital audio players, and then copy files from them.

Next, we come to the "Setup" menu. Here you can change various settings.
For "Sound", this allows you to set the volume, as well as audio balance.

"Display" lets you change the menu language, brightness, contrast and even saturation. The Zen Vision only allows setting of brightness.

"Power" lets you set the idle time before the player automatically switches off, as well as the backlight time.

"System" lets you see the hard disk information, as well as upgrade the firmware. Finally, "TV System" lets you choose to display in PAL or NTSC.
