The Player

Here are some shots of the Zen Stone.

In this shot, you can see the status LED (on the left).

The buttons looks just like the iPod Shuffle's, with the outer ring for volume and the forward and back buttons, and a play/pause button in the centre. This button is also used to switch on and off the player.

At the top of the player is the 3.5mm stereo headphones jack, a mode switch and a reset button. The mode switch looks and functions like the power/hold combo switch on previous players, but its functions are different. The switch sets the player on shuffle or repeat all, and pushing the switch left will skip the current folder. This is actually a useful function.

At the bottom is the USB connector.

And this is the back of the player, with a groove for a lanyard.

The curves of the Zen Stone reminded us of the Zen V, Creative's previous DAP.

The Zen Stone obviously lacks a screen, but in return, is significantly smaller than the Zen V (which we already considered rather small for its features).
